(+) We thought the view was one of the best we have ever had from opening the curtains in the morning to closing them at night , a beautiful sunset thrown in for good measure. There was only a 5 minute walk to the Old Town & flower market & 10 minutes to the bus station.The room seemed recently renovated & well equipped. (-) If only European Hotels had tea & coffee in the room to wake up to, this is not particular to the Hotel Suisse obviously.

(+) Its proximity to the historical old town of Nice with plenty of shops and restaurants. Also next to the steps leading to the Colline du Chateau. (-) Breakfast was quite expensive but a five minute walk gives you plenty of alternative cheaper choices in the old town.

(+) The maginificent view and the comfort (-) the very early check-out time (11am)

(+) The friendly staff and the location - easy on foot access to the beach, old town, the port & restaurants with good bus & tram services (-) Traffic noise during the night although it didn't always disturb you
