(+) I arrived late and left very early but I found the receptionist very helpful. I was tired and he gave me full explanation on how to find my room, wake up call and how to get the shuttle to the airport in the morning. (-) It was a little further from the airport than I thought but it only took 10 mins to get there. My transfer was early morning but could be complicated in rush hour

(+) We were after somewhere clean and easy to stay before our connecting flight back home. It was perfect. (-) No hairdryer in room?

(+) That it was close to Gatwick airport (-) The hotel was fully booked, so we paid 62 pounds for a double room, with noise, air coming from the window, one handtowel, extra charge for TV and a bathroom full of water after a quick shower.

(+) Not much good to say about my experience. It was close to the airport. (-) We stayed on January 5th, which was the night of a major snow storm in the London area, so I can appreciate that there were added demands on staff during our stay, as the hotel had many passengers coming in late at night to find accommodations. Nevertheless, such a situation should not compromise the staff's professionalism. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. Us and other hotel guests were made to feel as though we were just lucky to have accommodation that night. Numerous requests were greeted by a staff that would walk away and pretend to not notice that one was trying to get their attention. A terrible experience. Even at the discount rate, it would have been better to sleep on a bench at Gatwick.
