(+) The young man who greeted me was very pleasant and helpful. (-) There was no-one on reception to give me a receipt for my stay - consequently I did nothave the oppportunity to sign for credit card deduction. I am anxious to see that they have only taken the £25 as arranged. I found this quite disconcerting as I needed a receipt to claim my expenses on the day of my course so would not stay there again.

(+) Cleanest and tidiest hotel I have stayed in for a long time. Very professional staff and great restauraunt and bar on premises. All you could want from a hotel really. (-) Single room was very very small.

(+) size of rooms (-) confusion over breakfast times resulted in us not eating breakfast on first morning...however the discount and bottle of wine more than made up for it....

(+) the reception was very warm and freindly, all staff were willing to help with any questions or problems you had. (-) Breakfast could have been a bit better organised

(+) The cellar bar had a unique atmosphere & the evening meal in the Afro Caribbean Restaurant was excellent (-) Overall the place needs a full refurbishment & a major improvement would be to ensure that all rooms have at least a rail on which to hang your clothes
